Positives
- I did well on meditation program, reading, and going to the gym.
- I made progress on the ceiling and fan project but did not finish.
- I made some improvements to this site.
- I did some work on the app.
Negatives
- I did not write much.
- I was still somewhat distracted by social media.
- The evening fitness task was not very successful.
- I did not complete the fan and ceiling project.
- The amount of story points completed was a lot less than last week.
Ways to improve this week
- Continue using the FocusGuard Chrome extension. Complete 4 30-minute work sessions per day with this on. This is non-negotiable.
- Make a plan each day for the evening fitness task, what I will do, and schedule this.
- Change the structure of days to focus on one large project per day. Aim to get in 2-4 hours of focus work on this. The days still feel too segmented and tasks like writing and app building are not getting done. The buckets will be: improvements to this website, cooking app, kitchen work, and writing.
- Get sprint planning done on Friday, not Monday.

November 25
- Yesterday: Went to yoga. Textured ceiling. Got Inoreader set up as Feedly alternative and canceled Feedly Pro. Planned this week.
- Today: Went to yoga. Reading and new meditation program for this week. Focus on app planning and development. Come up with a code name for this project to refer to it easily.
- Challenges: N/A
November 26
- Yesterday: Went to yoga. Got in a rabbit hole of blocking content on LinkedIn so it’s less of a distraction. Got derailed with a phone call. Pretty bad day.
- Today: Went to the gym. Continued with stripping LinkedIn. I will add a task to the sprint because I think this was time well spent that I will get back. Start on app work.
